The Melbourne Sports and Aquatic Center (MSAC) is the largest and most modern competition facility in Australia . It is located in downtown Melbourne in Albert Park ( Port Phillip City ). In the sports center, two 50-meter pools, one a plant for indoors and one outdoors, Diving , a squash integrated -Center, table tennis and badminton courts and a basketball court. During the 2007 World Swimming Championships , MSAC hosted water polo tournaments and diving competitions. In 2006 the swimming and diving competitions of the 2006 Commonwealth Games were held here.

Since opening in 1997, the MSAC has welcomed more than 11 million guests to its halls, including numerous Formula 1 fans, as the MSAC is located directly on the Albert Park Circuit .
