Melih Kartal (born January 1, 1995 in Istanbul ) is a Turkish football player.

Player career

Kartal was born in the Kadıköy district of Istanbul . As a ten-year-old, he began playing club football in the Pendikspor youth department . In 2007 he then moved to the Kartalspor youth department . In 2010 the traditional Turkish club Galatasaray Istanbul signed him with a professional contract for his youth department. Kartal played for three years for the reserve or U-19 team of his club.

For the second half of the 2013/14 season Kartal was loaned to the second division side Kahramanmaraşspor . At this club he made his professional debut on February 2, 2014 in the league game against Adanaspor .

In the summer of 2014 he broke his contract with Galatasaray early and returned to his previous club Kartalspor.
