Melissos (sculptor)
Melissos ( ancient Greek Μέλισσος ) from Korkyra , son of Epicrates, was an ancient Greek sculptor . He worked in Dodona . A base with the signature of Melissos was found there. This is the only surviving work by the sculptor so far. The basis and thus his creative time are in the period between the second half of the 3rd century and the first half of the 2nd century BC. Dated.
