Melody Ludi

Melody Ludi , married to Hill (* around 1958) is an English table tennis player from the 1970s.

Career

Melody Ludi achieved her first international success at the Junior European Championships in 1976, when she reached the final in a mixed with Paul Day . With the same mixed partner, she won the National English Championship in 1976/77 .

In 1977 she won the Commonwealth Championship in doubles with Karen Witt , in mixed with Andrew Barden she came in second. Two years later she reached the semi-finals of the Commonwealth Championships. In 1977 she was nominated for the world championship . She was seventh with the English team.

Private

Melody Ludi's grandfather comes from Switzerland. She herself grew up in Yorkshire . In July 1980 she married Greg Hill and then performed under the name Melody Hill .
