The Melrose Peak is a mountain in the Antarctic Ross Dependency . It rises about 6.5 km south of Peters Peak in the central part of the Holyoake Range in the Churchill Mountains .
The United States Geological Survey mapped it using tellurometer measurements and using aerial photographs from the United States Navy between 1960 and 1962. The Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names named it in 1966 after Robert L. Melrose, meteorologist for the United States Antarctic Research Program at Hallett Station between 1963 and 1964.
