Memli Krasniqi
Memli Krasniqi (born January 25, 1980 in Pristina , SFR Yugoslavia , today Kosovo ) is a former Kosovar rapper and songwriter and now a politician and spokesman for the Democratic Party of Kosovo .
Life
Krasniqi was born in Pristina and has two sisters. He is married and has three children. His father Milazim is a political analyst.
Krasniqi became known through the rap group Ritmi i Rrugës , which he founded in 1995 together with Arbër Reçi. He has released three albums with the group so far and has a lot of fans in Albania and the Balkans . However, the two have started their own direction in their careers.
Krasniqi began his political career shortly after the war in Kosovo and became a member of the Democratic Party of Kosovo in 2006 . He is a spokesman in the Kosovar government and a member of the Kosovar parliament. He is in the Ministry of Education, Technology, Culture, Youth, Sports and Science.
