Menafra is a town in Uruguay .
geography
It is located in the Cuchilla de Haedo in the central northern part of the Río Negro department in sector 12 . The Arroyo de la Palmita , a tributary of the Arroyo Don Esteban Grande, rises to the southwest of the village . A few kilometers to the east are the villages of Villa General Borges and Villa María .
Infrastructure
Menafra has both a railway line and Ruta 25 .
