The Mendener Bridge spans the Ruhr near Menden, Mülheim an der Ruhr for Bundesstrasse 1 . The reinforced concrete bridge consists of twelve arches spaced between 22.5 and 40.75 m.

It was built by Philipp Holzmann AG on behalf of the Ruhr Coal District Settlement Association from 1928 to 1930, but it was demolished on April 10, 1945 by the Volkssturm . After it was rebuilt in 1949, the concrete had to be replaced and the bridge widened in the 1960s. Due to the increasing volume of traffic, a complete renovation was necessary in 2001.
