Menemachus (son of Aegyptus)
Menemachos ( ancient Greek Μενέμαχος Menémachos , tradition offers Μέναχος Menachos ) is in Greek mythology one of the 50 sons of Aigyptus , the twin brother of Danaos . His mother came from Phenicia and had six other sons with Aigyptus: Agaptolemus , Kerketes , Eurydamas , Aigios , Argios and Archelaus .
For the mass wedding of the 50 sons of Aigyptus with the 50 daughters of Danaos, at which lot decided on the pairing, he was assigned Nelo , the daughter of an Ethiopian mother, as wife. Like the other sons of Aegyptus with the exception of Lynkeus , he was killed by his wife on their wedding night.
