Mengcheng
The circle Mengcheng ( Chinese 蒙城县 , pinyin Mengcheng Xiàn ) is a group of prefecture-level city Bozhou in the Chinese province of Anhui . It has an area of 2,060 or 2,091 square kilometers and has a population of around 1.22 million (2004).
The Neolithic Yuchi Temple site (Yuchisi yizhi 尉迟 寺 遗址) of the Dawenkou culture and the Mengcheng Thousand Buddha Pagoda (Mengcheng Wanfota 蒙城 万 佛塔) are on the list of monuments of the People's Republic of China .
