Menhir of Fichades

The menhir des Fichades is a menhir in a field near the edge of the forest and the hamlet of Grand Bagnol, south of the D 1 road and east of Fromental , in the east of the Haute-Vienne department in France .

The approximately 3.55 m high menhir made of white granite stands on a cul-de-sac about 400 m southwest of the dolmen of Bagnol .

The menhir was excavated in 1914 by Jean-André Périchon Bey (1860–1929) and classified in 1945 as a Monument historique .
