The menhir of Ballyellin in the townland of Ballyellin and Tomdarragh ( Irish Baile Eilín agus Tom Darach ) is a granite menhir ( English standing stone ) in a pasture east of Goresbridge (County Killkenny) on the farthest edge of County Carlow in Ireland .

The stone is about 2.65 meters high, 0.7 m wide and 0.55 m thick. It is one of several grooved stones in Carlow, the only county in Ireland with stones of this type. More examples can be seen in Ardristan , Glenoge and Williamstown. The grooves here, about 0.6 m long, are smaller than the others.

Nearby are the Portal Tombs of Ballygraney and Kilgraney .
