The menhir of Glenoge (also called Cloghstailragh ) stands in the townland of the same name ( Irish Gleann Óg , "Young Valley") west of Tullow in County Carlow in Ireland .

It is a grooved stone, as it is typical for menhirs ( English standing stones ) in County Carlow ( Ardristan , Ballyellin ). On the eastern side there are three deep vertical grooves that extend almost the entire height of the stone. On the western side is a deep single groove. It is about 1.8 m high, 1.6 m wide and 1.5 m thick. The north side of the stone is vertical, while the south side is arched.

The stone is on a small hill in the middle of a field within sight of the stone box of Baunogenasraid .
