Dominique Neal Uhl (born October 18, 1994 in Frankfurt am Main ) is a German basketball player.

career

Uhl grew up in his native Frankfurt am Main , attended the Carl von Weinberg School and came into contact with the sport of basketball there. He then played in the youth departments of MTV Kronberg and Eintracht Frankfurt . Between 2010 and 2012 he also made short appearances in the second men's team of the Skyliners Frankfurt in the 2nd Bundesliga ProB . Uhl went to the United States in 2012 , attended Point Pleasant Beach High School in New Jersey , where he also played basketball. In 2014 he began studying (major: business management) at the University of Iowa and played 114 games for the university team by 2018. He came to averages of 3.4 points and 2.6 rebounds per encounter.

In the summer of 2018, Uhl began his career as a professional basketball player with the Ehingen / Urspring syndicate in the 2nd Bundesliga ProA and stayed there until the end of the 2018/19 season. He then went to Ireland for the second division LYIT Donegal Basketball Club.

National team

In the summer of 2010, Uhl took part in the European Championship in Montenegro with the German U16 national team.
