The menhirs of Ardristan in the townland of the same name ( Irish Ard Breistin ) are about 120 meters apart on both sides of the N81 road from Tullow to Bunclody in County Carlow in Ireland .

The larger menhir ( English standing stone ) of these granite stones ( location ) is about 2.8 meters high and about 0.5 m in diameter. With its 6 radial grooves running from top to bottom, it is reminiscent of the Devil's Arrows in Yorkshire . There are several stones with similar grooves in Carlow and Wicklow Counties (e.g., in Ballyellin , Glenoge, and Willtamstown) that are believed to be at least partially artificial. There are also grooves on some of the Portal Tombs capstones nearby.

The smaller stone ( location ) has no special features. About 2 km to the southeast, in Aghade, is the perforated stone Cloch a 'Phoill .
