The menhir of Schlausenbach (also known as Forstmeister-Jansen-Stein ) is a menhir between Buchet and Schlausenbach in the Eifel district of Bitburg-Prüm in Rhineland-Palatinate .
location
The stone is located in an extensive forest area in the Schneifel on the northern slope of the Black Man . The closest place is Schlausenbach to the north, but the location is in the municipal area of Buchet. The menhir can be reached via a forest path.
description
The menhir consists of greywacke . It has a height of 150 cm, a width of 80 cm and a depth of 63 cm. The stone is angular and ends in a square point. It is placed on a modern pedestal.
