Menhirs from the Pinzu a Vergine
The menhirs of Pinzu a Vergine (also called Pinzu a Verghine ; French Pinzu a Vergine alignment ) are an interrupted row of stones in Petricaggio in the municipality of Barrettali on the Cap Corse in the Haute-Corse department of Corsica .
You are on the 593 m high pass Col Pinzu a Vergine. Only one stone is in situ , the others are on the ground, so it is difficult to see the row. Some scientists believe that one of the stones could be a statue menhir .
The position is indicated in the “Hiking in Corsica” guide. To see the row of stones, you have to climb to the highest point.
A legend is associated with the row of stones.
