Mainling (also Menling Dzong or Milin , Tibetan : སྨན་ གླིང་ རྫོང་ , Wylie transcription : sman gling rdzong , Chinese 米林县 , Pinyin Mǐlín Xiàn ) is a district in the Nyingchi administrative district of the Tibet Autonomous Region of the People's Republic of China . Mainling has an area of 9506.72 km² and 18509 inhabitants (end of 2007 年末).
Administrative structure
At the community level, the district consists of three large communities , four communities and one nationality community. These are:
- Großgemeinde Mainling (米林 镇);
- Greater Pai Township (派 镇);
- Greater community Orong (卧龙镇);
- Damnyain parish (丹娘 乡);
- Nailung municipality (里 龙乡);
- Qabnag municipality (羌 纳 乡);
- Community Zhaxirabdain (扎西绕登乡);
- Community Naiyü the Lhoba (南伊珞巴族乡).
