People of the Week was a talk show that was produced in cooperation with Südwestrundfunk (SWR) and Format Punkt E GmbH until October 2015 and moderated by Frank Elstner . Airtime was Saturday evening after 10 p.m. on SWR television .

Location

The talk show was broadcast from the old power station of the Stadtwerke Baden-Baden . The building was built in 1899 and later converted into a studio.

concept

Several guests were invited to each broadcast. These could be celebrities talking about their life or their latest project. But non-celebrities also had their say, for example when a special fate overtook them. Experts were able to comment on particularly sensitive or otherwise interesting topics. The guests spoke one after the other and separately. Each guest had 10 to 15 minutes. So it stayed with the dialogue, there was no round of talks like in other talk shows.
