The Mercado de Abastos is a market hall in Zamora , a Spanish city ​​in the autonomous community of Castile and León , built in 1902.

history

The market hall was built on the site of the demolished Romanesque church of San Salvador de la Vid , which is why it was also known as Mercado del Salvador . The two-storey building in the Modernism style was designed by the architect Segundo Viloria Escarda and consists of a steel structure with cast iron beams and large glass surfaces.
