The full container ships were designed for use between Europe and the Far East . The first ships in the series could transport up to 1084 containers, later the capacity was increased to up to 1254 containers. Five holds hold 536 TEU in six layers and eight rows. The holds are closed with double pontoon hatches. There are three layers of containers on deck and empty containers in the fourth layer. There are 100 connections for refrigerated containers.
A type 9 DKRN 80 / 160-4 marine diesel engine , which was built in Bryansk under license from Burmeister & Wain , serves as the drive . With a propulsion power of 15,882 kW, the ship reaches a speed of 21 knots. The radius of action was given as 21,000 nautical miles.
The crew consists of 35 men. There is accommodation for 12 more people.
