The Mergelland route is a touristic tour developed by the Dutch Automobile Club ( ANWB ) and leads as a circular route from Maastricht through the hilly areas of Dutch South Limburg, the Mergelland , back to Maastricht.

By car

The approximately 130-kilometer route begins and ends in Maastricht. You can start the circuit in either direction in either location. The route is marked with brown signs indicating the Mergelland route and the direction.

By bicycle

The 125-kilometer cycle route begins and ends in Maastricht. You can start the circuit at any of the locations, and it doesn't matter how you drive around. The route is marked with green signs indicating the Mergelland route and the direction.
