Merve Özbey (born July 18, 1988 in Istanbul ) is a Turkish pop musician .

Career

Her music career began in 2012 with the single Duman in collaboration with Erdem Kınay.

Before that she worked as a background singer for many Turkish artists such as Demet Akalın , Bengü and Özcan Deniz . It was discovered by Ebru Gündeş .

The second successful collaboration with Erdem Kınay followed in 2013 with Helal Ettim and the third in 2017.

Her breakthrough as a solo singer came in 2015 with the debut album Yaş Hikayesi and the accompanying single releases, all of which were also produced by Erdem Kınay. She was able to consolidate her success four years later with the second album Devran .
