Merveldter Hof
The Merveldter Hof , also spelled Mervelder Hof and Mervelderhof , is one of four surviving Burgmann farms in Horstmar in the Steinfurt district of North Rhine-Westphalia. It has been a listed building since April 24, 1985. The two-storey two-wing building dates from the Renaissance and, like all Burgmannshöfe, is located on the edge of the city moat. The courtyard of the Lords of Merveldt, built in 1561, follows the scheme of the other Horstmar courtyards. In the meantime, an auction house was housed there. After a change of ownership and some renovation work, Wolfgang Hölker will live in this farm with his wife from 2019 .
