Mezhdusharsky Island ( Russian Междушарский остров ) is the third largest island of the to Russia belonging Novaya Zemlya -Archipels in the Arctic Ocean . Administratively it belongs to Arkhangelsk Oblast and is uninhabited.

Meschduscharski is located 2 km off the southwest coast of the much larger South Island Novaya Zemlya and thus in the Barents Sea .
