Knife back

The knife back designated with a knife opposite the blade and blunt part of the blade .

In fish farming and ichthyology , knife back also describes an anatomical deformity in some high-backed carp fish such as the lead , the tench or the crucian carp . It manifests itself in a very sharp back edge and is a sign of poor nutrition for the animals.
