MEST is a punk band, which was founded by the cousins ​​Tony (born June 20, 1980 ) and Matt Lovato in 1996 together with Tony's brother Steve in Chicago .

history

At the age of seven they already started playing with Tony's father's instruments. When they later met Nick Gigler in high school, MEST was complete. In 1997 the band separated from Steve Lovato due to creative differences and continued to play as a trio until 1999, when Jeremiah Rangel was hired as the new guitarist. One of her most important releases is the 2001 album Destination Unknown . A year later, the band played with Goldfinger on July 20, 2002 in Las Vegas .

In 2006 the band broke up. In 2008 Tony Lovato brought the group back to life with new members.
