Metadella

Metadella was an Italian measure of volume in the Grand Duchy of Tuscany . It was a so-called grain measure and corresponded roughly to the Schoppen, the Mässchen, the Nösel and the Metze.

The dimensional chain was

1 Quarto = 2 Metadelle = 4 Mezzete = 16 Quartucci
1 metadella = 153.5 Paris cubic inches = 3 1/25 liters

Other relationships were

8 metadel = 1 staja
4 metadel = 1 mina
