The Metall-Chemie Holding is a corporation founded in 1949 corporation in Hamburg .

history

Metall-Chemie was founded in 1949 as a trading company in Hamburg and was part of the Lubovitch Group based in Paris, which in turn was founded in the 1920s and at that time already had branches in North and South America and Australia . In the first few years only raw materials in the form of ores and semi-finished metal products were traded. The range was then expanded to include trading in chemical raw materials and refractory products for industry. The activities of this trading company formed the nucleus of today's Metall-Chemie Group, which is now run by Metall-Chemie Holding and has been in private hands since it was founded.

Today, production and trading companies from various business fields such as special machine construction, fine chemicals , surface processing and non-ferrous metals belong to the group.
