Metin Buz

Metin Buz (* 1960 ) is a German Germanist and author of Turkish origin.

Buz, the child of immigrants, went to school in Germany and then studied German at the Johann Wolfgang Goethe University in Frankfurt am Main , where he also received his doctorate.

In addition to publications in literary magazines, two independent book publications by the author have so far appeared, which are devoted to the topic of migration in different ways : The report (2004) contained a series of “multicultural satires and short stories”, a scientific publisher published Buz's “literary-sociological study on the subject, spelling and use of language in texts of the 1st and 2nd generation of the labor emigrants as well as reflections on the definition and differentiation problems of the literature of foreign authors in the Federal Republic ”( Literatur der Arbeitsemigration in der Bundes Republik Deutschland , 2003).

Buz is a German citizen and lives in Frankfurt am Main.
