The Metra Information Limited is a subsidiary of MetService . The company, which markets its weather forecasting and meteorological data delivery products under the brand name MetraWeather , was founded in 1995 for the international market and services outside New Zealand .

Weatherscape XT
A well-known product that Metra Information Ltd. The graphic system for weather presentation for television stations, called Weatherscape XT , is marketed worldwide . TV channels such as the BBC in the United Kingdom , The Weather Channel in the United States , TG4 in Ireland , Nelonen in Finland , Channel 7 , Nine Network and Special Broadcasting Service in Australia and of course TVNZ and TV3 in New Zealand use the product for their weather presentations.
