Metro Green Line

The Metro Green Line is a light rail line in the Twin Cities , Minnesota . The 18-kilometer line connects the two inner cities of the sister cities Minneapolis ( Target Field station ) and St.Paul ( Union Depot station ).

The line has existed since 2014 and shares the five northern stops in Minneapolis with the previously existing Metro Blue Line . In the further course it leads over the campus of the University of Minnesota and crosses the Mississippi on the Washington Avenue Bridge .
