MCC New York

The Metropolitan Correctional Center, New York City ( MCC New York ) is an American federal prison in the New York borough of Manhattan . It opened in 1975 and is located on Park Row behind the Thurgood Marshall United States Courthouse in Foley Square.

The MCC New York is a facility for convicts who are tried in federal courts . It is designed for male and female prisoners of all security levels. In 2017, almost 800 people were detained there.
