The sister newspaper El Nuevo Herald caters to the large Spanish-speaking community in Miami and the surrounding area.
In 2013, the workforce left the publishing house, which dominates the cityscape of Miami, and moved to new headquarters in the neighboring city of Doral to the west . After some discussions about its historical significance, the building will be demolished and rebuilt by the Genting Group .
