The CMBT ( Tamil சென்னை புறநகர் பேருந்து நிலையம் ) metro station is an above-ground subway station on the Chennai Metro . It is served by the Green Line .

The CMBT metro station serves the Chennai Mofussil Bus Terminus (CMBT) and is located in the Koyambedu district in western Chennai. It opened on June 29, 2015 as part of the first section of the Green Line. The heavily frequented bus station CMBT is the starting and ending point of all intercity bus connections starting and ending in Chennai. The metro station, designed as a high station, is located in the immediate vicinity of the bus station. However, after it opened, there were complaints that the station was difficult to reach for bus passengers and poorly signposted.
