Meucci Originals

founding
The company was founded by Bob Meucci from Glenview (Illinois) on March 24, 1975. Until the mid-1960s, Bob only made a few cues and experimented with new designs. For this purpose he founded "BMC Cues" in Glenview. In 1968 he was in charge of the queue department at the National Chalk Co. A year later, "National Chalk Co." moved to Georgia , whereupon Bob decided to stay in Chicago . During this time he helped other queue manufacturers such as B. WICO, who made the first blanks for Gus Szamboti . He quickly found recognition as a talented and creative queue maker. In the early 1970s, Bob made cues for other producers in Memphis, Tennessee , before starting his own company in 1975.
From 1975 to 1998, Meucci was based in Olive Branch , Mississippi , before moving its manufacturing facility to Sledge , Mississippi , in 1998 , where it is still located today. The company has become one of the most successful and well-known brands in the queue industry.
