Life

Michaelson studied painting in Berlin around 1830 and from 1832/1833 to 1835/1866 at the Düsseldorf Art Academy . There was Theodor Hildebrandt his teacher. From 1833 to 1835 he exhibited in Düsseldorf. When he stayed away longer in the school year 1835/1836, he lost his job at the Düsseldorf Academy.
