Mezamor ( Armenian Մեծամոր , until 1946 Ghamarlu ) is a rural municipality in the province of Armavir in Armenia. The village is 11 km south of Vagharschapat (Etschmiadzin) on the banks of the Mezamor river of the same name . At the time of the Soviet Union , Metsamor was in the Echmiadzin district of the Armenian SSR .
In 2009 Mezamor had 1410 inhabitants.
