The Mezdra Point (English; Bulgarian нос Мездра nos Mesdra ) is a headland in the northwest of Snow Island in the archipelago of the South Shetland Islands . It is located 1.5 km southwest of Cape Timblón and 2 km northeast of Irnik Point .
British scientists mapped it in 1968. The Bulgarian Commission for Antarctic Geographical Names named it in 2006 after the city of Mesdra in northwestern Bulgaria .
