Pécs 2010 (called PVSK until 2005) was a Hungarian basketball club from the city of Pécs , whose women's division was eleven times Hungarian champions and eleven times Hungarian cups.

history

Founded in 1946, the women's department initially played on a regional level and rose to NL I. 1948–1949 after a season without defeat in the western NL II. 1959 played for the first and not only time a player (Láng Klári) of the PVSK in the Hungarian women's national team.

They played in NB I until 1964, where they had a very bad season and NB II relegated and played there for another 6 years. In 1971 they represented Hungary at the railway championship in Czechoslovakia, where 8 nations sent their teams into the race and they made 5th place.

In 1991 the team won the first gold medal in the Hungarian championship. In 1993, today's coach Rátgéber László came to the head of the coaching team. In 1996 the PVSK won the Hungarian Cup and in 1997-1998 they were champions for the fourth time.

The team did not take part in the 2012/2013 season for financial reasons.
