Michael Auer (born June 10, 1983 ) is an Austrian football player .

The midfielder started as a youth at SK Admira Stock Linz am Bachlberg in Urfahr near Linz. At ASK Linz he played with the amateurs. In September 2005 he made his breakthrough and was on the starting line-up for the first time. In 2006 he moved to DSG Union Perg , and one year later to FC Blau-Weiß Linz .
