Michael Berger (journalist)
Michael Berger (born September 14, 1957 in Vienna ) is an Austrian sports journalist.
After graduating from high school , he studied law . He has been working for ORF since 1980 , initially for radio as a presenter and editor of local sports programs, and from 1983 onwards for various sports programs on television. Since 1986 he has been reporting live from sporting events, including a. from all Olympic Games since 1988. He is one of the moderators of the ORF show Sport aktuell . He also moderates the sports program Sport-Bild on ORF 1 .
Berger is himself an active competitive athlete with the Vienna Ice Skating Club (WEV). In his spare time he enjoys playing golf .
