Michael Dreeben

Michael R. Dreeben (born 1954 in the United States ) is an American lawyer and longtime officer in the US Department of Justice. He is considered a particularly distinguished criminal law expert .

Services

Dreeben has worked for the US Department of Justice since 1988, most recently as Deputy Solicitor General of the United States . Dreeben is considered a proven expert in criminal law. In April 2016, he tried his 100th case in the Supreme Court of the United States , a number only seven lawyers in the United States at the time matched.

Dreeben has been a member of Special Investigator Robert Mueller's investigation team since August 2017 to investigate Russian interference in the US election campaign .
