Michael Eischer

Michael Eischer (born May 1, 1963 in Vienna ) is an Austrian politician of the Freedom Party of Austria (FPÖ). Since December 21, 2017 he has been a member of the Vienna State Parliament and a member of the Vienna City Council .

Life

After attending primary school in Celtesgasse and secondary school Pyrkergasse in Vienna- Döbling, Michael Eischer attended the wine and fruit growing school in Krems from 1977 to 1980 , where he passed the final and assistant examination in 1981 and the viticulture and cellar master examination in 1989. In 1983 he also passed the license examination for guest and accommodation establishments. In 1979 he took over his parents' winery and wine tavern in Neustift am Walde , which he has been running ever since.

politics

Michael Eischer has been active in the FPÖ in the Vienna- Döbling district since 1996 , where he was accepted into the district management in 1998. In 1999 he was elected chairman of liberal farmers in Vienna. From 2005 he was a district councilor of the district representation in Vienna-Döbling, in 2009 he became FPÖ district chairman there and 2010 club chairman of the FPÖ-Döbling in the district representation. On January 25, 2018, he was sworn in as a member of the Vienna State Parliament and City Council in the 20th electoral term . He succeeded Ricarda Bianca Berger , who moved to the National Council .
