The Worry Eater is a German animated cartoon series . It was first broadcast on December 2, 2017 on Nick as part of the Nick Jr. program block. The series is produced by Nickelodeon in collaboration with Hahn Film and is based on the worry-eater plush figures developed by Gerhard Hahn in 2008 .
Worry eater
In 2008, film producer Gerhard Hahn, the director of the Berlin animation studio Hahn Film, created the characters of the worry-eater. According to his own statements, he had a business concern at that time, which he would like to have "eaten by a monster". The worry-eater are colorful mythical creatures with a zipper as a mouth, in which you should put your worries written down. The plush figures have been awarded in several European countries, for example in Great Britain in 2014 with the Independent Toy Award.
In addition to the plush figures, Hahn published several children's books with the worry-eaters, and there are also various toys, stationery and other merchandising items. In the publishing Egmont Ehapa Media figure Sorgenfresser appeared from 2015 to each a separate magazine.
content
At the beginning of each episode, a child is introduced who is troubled by a concern or problem. Before going to bed, it writes its worry on a piece of paper and puts it in its worry eater. Once the child has fallen asleep, the worry eater comes to life, wakes the child and travels with him to Dada land. There they experience various adventures, most of which revolve around the problems of the worry-eater themselves, and the child is actively involved in solving them. When the child wakes up the next morning, he is finally able to overcome and dissolve his worry from the previous evening.
