Michael Hahn (lawyer)

Michael J. Hahn is a German law scholar and university professor.

Life

Hahn passed his first state examination in law in Frankfurt / Main, obtained his doctorate in law in Heidelberg and his master's degree in Michigan .

Hahn was professor for comparative public law and international law at the University of Waikato School of Law in Hamilton (New Zealand) from 2005 to 2008 ; since then he has been an honorary professor there . Since 2008 he has held the chair of European law at the Faculty of Law at the University of Lausanne and has been Director of the Institute for European and International Economic Law and Director of the World Trade Institute since 2015.
