Michael Harbauer
Michael Harbauer (* 1969 in Schlema ) is director of the SCHLINGEL international film festival for children and young audiences .
The son of the later SPD politician Peter Harbauer was born in Schlema in the Ore Mountains. From 1990 to 1995 Harbauer was director of the film library of the State Film Service Saxony in Chemnitz . In 1996 he and Sylvia Zimmermann set up the newly founded SCHLINGEL international film festival for children and young audiences, which he directs. He is also managing director of the Saxon Children and Youth Film Service eV
