Michael Joseph Edwards
Michael Joseph Edwards (born February 23, 1958 ) is a British classical philologist .
Life
Mike Edwards is Professor of Classics at Roehampton University , London, where he was previously Head of Humanities (2015-2017) and is also an Alexander Onassis Foundation fellow (2017-2018). Previously, he was Head of the School of Classics at the University of Wales Trinity Saint David , and previously Director of the Institute of Classical Studies at the University of London, where he is now Senior Research Fellow and Professor of Classics at Queen Mary University of London .
His main research interests are rhetoric, especially the speeches of Attic speakers.
