Michael Price (composer)
Michael Price is a British film music composer.
Life
Price had initially embarked on a career as a composer in the field of contemporary dance when the composer Michael Kamen asked him to help produce and record the music for Event Horizon - On the Edge of the Universe (1997). Price subsequently co-produced the film music for other films and worked as a music editor a. a. in the Lord of the Rings trilogy. Since 2003 he has appeared as an independent composer for film and television productions. One of his most famous works is the music for the Sherlock series , which he developed together with David Arnold . For their work on Sherlock - His Final Vow , the two were awarded a prize at the 2014 Primetime Emmy Awards .
In 2015 he released his first music album.
