action

The withdrawn children's book author Jack wants to try his hand at being a crime writer. To do this, he researches the résumés of British murderers from centuries past. He hopes that this will inspire him to work as a writer on his latest work "Decades of Death". However, the psychologically unstable writer is plagued by severe fears as a result of his research. However, after a request for a film version of the book, he has to leave his apartment to meet with his agent.

Reviews

The reviews for the film were mostly negative.

“Director Crispian Mills cannot decide where the accents of his story should be. His debut work has far too little humor for a comedy, it's not scary enough for a horror film and it lacks substance for a psychological character study. "

"Crispian Mills and Chris Hopewell's" The Terrible Fear of the Terrible "is unfortunately one of those films with Simon Pegg that are among his weaker ones. The story is extremely lengthy, especially at the beginning, the humor is only conditionally witty and sometimes too much calibrated to British clichés, so that not every German will understand them.
